Fetty Wap Creates Billboard Chart History, Something Nicki Minaj, Drake, Jay Z Didn’t Do

Fetty Wap has a hit machine working with him because almost every song that the trap music rapper/singer put out becomes a hit. You can check Billboard Hot 100 for the proof.

When “Trap Queen” became a monster hit earlier this year, everyone thought that Fetty Wap would be a one-hit wonder, but he proved his critics wrong.

Almost all of the New Jersey rapper followup songs became instant hits with a catchy melody. According to Billboard, Wap currently has four songs in the top ten of Hot Rap Songs and these are his first four charting singles.

Hit breakout hit “Trap Queen” currently sits at No. 2 behind Silento’s “Watch me.” Fetty’s second charting single “My Way” featuring Monty comes in at No. 3, “679” featuring Remy Boyz is at No. 5, and “Again” at No. 8.

50 Cent was the first artist to achieve that same milestone in 2005 when The Game song “Hate It Or Love It” climbed into the top 10 Rap Songs. T.I. also did it in 2009, but as a lead artist on all four songs featured in the top 10.

Neither Drake, Nicki Minaj or Jay Z first charting songs made it to the top 10.

Fetty Wap debut album arrive on September 25.
