Rihanna calls all the shots as she gets all gangster on us in her new music video “B**ch Better Have My Money.”
The Roc Nation hitmaker debut the highly anticipated music video on Wednesday night to mix reviews.
“B**ch Better Have My Money” is Rihanna’s biggest hit song since her return to music. The dark and gory single will be featured on her yet to be titled eight studio album due later this year.
The video starts out with Rihanna and her two female companions kidnapping a woman to unleash some unusual punishment. It turns out that the female is the wife of her accountant who owe her a lot of money.
The song and the video could be personal given Rihanna’s problems with her former accountant in recent years.
The Bajan pop singer, real name Robyn Fenty, sued her former accountant for $35 million and eventually settled out of court for $10 million.
She said that her accountant gave her a series of bad financial advise including the purchase of a leaking house in Los Angeles for $9 million.
Judging from the video, Rihanna is still feeling some type of way about things. But in the end she woke up in a chest full of money.
