Ziggy Marley Sent Sparks Flying at HOLA Event

Grammy Award Winning Ziggy Marley joined the Heart of Angeles (HOLA) organization to produce a sold out show in celebration of their 25th anniversary. The event featured the reggae star in performance with members of the HOLA band at its prestigious event in Beverly Hills on Monday, December 1.

His hit single Lighthouse sent sparks flying throughout the venue as he ignited the stage with the young promising HOLA musicians, Manolo and Gilberto at the charity event. The event honoured Mayor of Los Angeles, The Honorable Eric Garcetti and entertainment law firm Ziffren Brittenham LLP, while raising almost $1 million in support of the HOLA’s efforts.

Also the founder of the Unlimited Resources Giving Enlighten (U.R.G.E) Foundation, Ziggy Marley’s love for children and charity fuels his association with charities such as HOLA. He also participated in a gardening session with the children of the California-based non-profit organization while extending words of wisdom on healthy ways to eat.

U.R.G.E is a non-profitable charity organization that is aimed at providing an improved quality of life to children in Jamaica, Africa and other parts of the world while focusing on improving communities through education, health and continued support.
