Chris Brown Turned Down Plea Deal In Assault Case

Chris Brown was back in court on Wednesday in Washington D.C. for his assault case from last year.

The R&B singer and his bodyguard Christopher Hollosy are both charged with felony assault stemming from an incident outside his tour bus in Washington D.C. in October 2013.

According to CNN, both Brown and Hollosy were offered plea deals which would reduce their charges to simple assault which carry a lesser penalty.

However, they turned down the plea offer because a video surveillance showing what took place was not entered into evidence.

Chris Brown returns to court on February 20. If convicted he could be sentence to 180 days behind bars and fined $1,000
