With an Urban Music Awards (UMA) nomination; Sixteen No.1 hits and an expansive catalogue under his belt; True Gift Entertainment recording artiste Demarco is showing no signs of musical fatigue as his latest effort ‘Lazy Body’ epidemically saturates the Diaspora.

The paradoxically titled, high energy track now viral on the playlist of every popular radio and street jock, currently occupies the No.1 spot on St. Lucia’s Wave 93.7FM Top 20 Countdown Chart; No.8 on U.S Broadcaster Nikki-Z Hot 20 Chart; while sitting comfortably at No.3 on Canadian based Richard Banton Blazing Bubbler chart.

The very instructional composition featuring popular sound system selector Hotta Maestro is also featured on numerous mix CDs added to premium FM rotation across the North American territories of Canada and the U.S East and West Coast.

According to Demarco, he knew the ladies would gravitate towards the track but based on the overwhelming response and sudden emergence in popularity he was forced to push forward the official video shoot to last Sunday. This was done to fast-track the promotional campaign heading into the festive season. Shot at the Edna Manley School of Dance in Kingston, Jamaica the video will be Demarco 7th since summer and will be premiered under his own True Gift Entertainment (TGE) imprint in the coming weeks.

‘Lazy Body’ was produced by red hot rookie Jay Crazie of Jay Crazie Records. The burgeoning producer is also responsible for a surfeit of hits recorded by a number top tier Dancehall acts.

Last week, Demarco delivered spirited performances at Calabar High Barbecue and Integration Thursdays, the latter a weekly social gathering for students hosted by the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.
