Vybz Kartel is back in the Home Circuit Court today for day 6 and the beginning of the second week of his high profile murder trial.
Today Justice Bryan Sykes will continue hearing arguments from both the prosecution and the defense about a motion to have a witness statement be entered into evidence.

Justice Sykes is expected to hand down a ruling today and the jury is ask to be back in court tomorrow.
Vybz Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, is on trial for the murder of Barrington “Bossie” Burton.
Nigel Thompson and Lenburgh McDonald are also jointly charged with Vybz Kartel for Burton’s murder.
According to official police report, Burton was shot and killed on July 12, 2011 along Walkers Avenue, in Gregory Park, St. Catherine while standing with a group of friends.
A verdict in the case could only be days away and could be reached by the end of the week.
If convicted, Vybz Kartel could received life imprisonment.
