It seems as if it was just yesterday we use to see Nicki Minaj in coloured wigs and some outlandish outfits.
Now the Trinidadian rapstress has grown into her own with a more recognizable look.
In the issue, Nicki Minaj opens up about her stint on American Idol, her love life, having kids, acting and more.
“The perception that people had of me completely changed because there are no cue cards, there’s no script, it wasn’t me performing a song,” Nicki Minaj said about her run on Idol. “It was, ‘Let’s see your real personality.”
Nicki Minaj also said she is considering a career in film one day. She originally went to school for acting before launching a career in rap.
“One day, when I start getting a couple gray hairs, maybe it will all be only acting. I just never know. I’ve kind of become the poster child for doing the things that no one expects,” she said.
Nicki Minaj also has some advice for her barbz when it comes to dating.
“Don’t chase any man,” Nicki said. “Put your school first. Men love independent women. You don’t have to be a b*tch, but there’s nothing wrong with it at times. And: Men are kids at heart. They want to be nourished and pet like a dog.”
