Embattled dancehall star Vybz Kartel goes to court today to answer to one of his murder charges.
Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, and his co-accused are schedule to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court today in relation to the murder of St. Catherine promoter/businessman Barrington “Bossie” Burton.
According to police report, Burton was shot and killed last year summer while standing with friends in the Gregory Park area of St. Catherine.
Vybz Kartel Granted Bail On Conspiracy Charge
Vybz Kartel is also on trial for the murder of alleged gang member Clive “Lizard” Williams, who was also killed last summer.
Kartel’s protégé Shawn “Storm” Campbell, stylist Calvin Haye, and several others were also charged in connection to the murder.
Vybz Kartel has maintained his innocence.
