Vandalee Smith, Jamaican-Born Pregnant Bride Murdered In NYC

Vindalee Smith, a Jamaican-born pregnant bride, was found stabbed to death in her apartment in New York City a day before show would walk down the isle.

NYPD are now moving aggressively to solve this horrendous crime.

According to reports from authorities, the 38-year-old mom of four died from several stab wounds and a slash throat. She was 8 months pregnant at the time of her death.

Her death linked to Lee Boyd Malvo

What was also interesting in this gruesome murder was that detectives found a note under her body with a chilling message.

According to New York Daily News, the killer wrote that a pregnant woman will be killed until Lee Boyd Malvo is free.

“I will kill 1 (cq) pregnant woman a month starting now until Lee Boyd Malvo is set free!” It was signed “the apprentice” with a smiley face.

Captain Barkey’s Killer Commits Suicide In Florida

Smith’s fiance, Anthony Jackman, 33, is not a currently a suspect, but police are looking at his background. Jackman has 14 prior arrests including larceny, burglary and weapons possession.

Smith was a devot Seventh-day Adventist who attends church a mere half a block from her Flatbush apartment.

“Is tragic, it has broken our hearts,” her pastor Rev. Ferron Francis told the NY Daily News.

This heartbreaking news came just a week after reggae/dancehall artist Captain Barkey was shot and killed in Bronx, New York.
