Tommy Lee’s Protege Keda Score A Hit With “Body Mechanic” Remix

Miami based female singjay, Keda is currently in Jamaica promoting her first single entitled Body Mechanic, which is the official remix to her mentor and new dancehall sensation Tommy Lee Sparta single.

According to her publicist Karl Durrant “things look great for Keda right now as her first single is already buzzing on radio and in the streets not to mention the fact she has one of the hottest artistes in dancehall in her corner and she is stunning, so overall I see big things for her in the very near future” Karl Durrant stated.

Born Rickeda Charda Taylor, this gem of an artiste graced the earth with her alluring presence for the first time in Brooklyn New York City in the process becoming the eighth child of her Jamaican parents. Her family later relocated to Orlando Florida where she completed high school after which she went on to study the business of music at Seminole College of Florida. Growing up in such a large family made Keda into a family oriented person as growing up she could always count on her close knit family for support in all her endeavors so it came as no surprise to her that her family gave her their unconditional support to pursue her passion (music) as a career after college.

In her own words Keda says, her family recognized from an early age that music fueled her existence and as such they always volunteered to be her first audience and provided honest and insightful feedback which aided her development as an artiste. Despite growing up in the United States, Reggae/Dancehall music was always a part of her life and as such her early musical influences were a melting pot of sounds which included Lady Saw, Bob Marley, and Mary J Blige while her present influences are Vybz Kartel, Jahvinci and Tommy Lee Sparta who is also her good friend and mentor.

Currently Keda Sparta is working closely with Heavy D Promotions while the video for the single will be shot in a few days in various locations across Kingston.
