During a recent interview with Winford Williams of On Stage, Shabba opens up about growing up in an Inner City community in Kingston, getting his big break in dancehall, the current state of the genre, living overseas and his family.
“Visions of death and nightmares of prison,” Shabba said.
“That was all that was going on around me and my friends living in the ghetto. My friends died and my friends went to prison,” Shabba added.
Shabba also spoke candidly about going to the studio for the first time with dancehall legend Josey Wales.
