Tarrus Riley Top Ignite New York Jerk Fest

Reggae star Tarrus Riley is gearing up to perform at the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival in New York. The event will be held on Sunday, July 22, at the Roy Wilkins Park in Queens.

Similar to the world famous Jerk Fest in Jamaica, the one day event will bring together some of the top chefs in the tri-state area. Caribbean culture enthusiasts will get a taste of some of the finest Caribbean cuisine, coupled with reggae and soca music.

Some of the activities planned for the event includes cooking demonstrations by Grace Foods top chef, Mazie Miller and celebrity chefs, a cultural stage showcasing artistic and literary performances, a buzzing Kidz Zone featuring magicians, rides and other activities.

Grace Foods, who is the leading Caribbean food manufacturer and distributor, is the main sponsor for the event headlined by Riley.

Tarrus Riley is gearing up to release his upcoming album Mecoustic, due on April 17.
