Nicki Minaj And Rihanna Nominated For Brit Awards

Two of the biggest stars out of the Caribbean, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna, are invading this weekend’s Brit Awards.

Along with RiRi and Minaj, Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Kanye West have also been announced as nominees at Britain’s most prestigious awards show.

Rihanna will compete with new mom Beyoncé, pop great Lady Gaga, Bjork, and Feist for International Female Solo Artist of the year.

Nicki Minaj, who is nominated for four Grammys, is up for International Breakthrough Act, vying against Aloe Blacc, Bon Iver, Foster the People, and Lana Del Rey.

Jay-Z and Kanye West’s critically acclaimed Watch The Throne scores a nod for International Group, while Bruno Mars picks up a nomination for International Male Solo Artist.

Britain’s own Adele and Jessie J will face off for British Female Solo Artist and British Single.

The 32nd annual Brit Awards ceremony will air on February 21 at London’s O2 Arena.
