Two years after famous assault on Rihanna, Chris Brown is asking for his restraining order to be lifted.
Brown recently appeared in a L.A. courtroom for a progress report where his attorney asked the judge to remove the restraining order against former girlfriend Rihanna.
The singer, who was arrested for brutally beating Rihanna in February, 2009, was seeking the order lifted because it prevented him from attending award shows, parties and public events, according to RadarOnline.
Rihanna’s attorney will now have tp approve the modification from a “stay away” order to a “do not annoy.”
Despite three Grammy Award nominations, Chris Brown is not expected to attend next month’s premiere event.
