Troy Ave was arrested by NYPD following the release of a video showing the rapper firing a hand gun at T.I. concert in New York City on Wednesday night.
The surveillance video taken at the Irving Plaza shows Troy Ave walking into a room with people with a gun in his hand and firing at least one shot as people scatter. The rapper was reportedly chage for reckless endangerment, criminal use of a firearm, and illegal weapons possession. This means that if convicted on these counts he could face years in prison.

Shots rang out last night backstage T.I.’s concert in the Big Apple leaving one person dead and three injured. The 33-year-old man that died from gunshot wounds is reported to be Troy Ave’s bodyguard.

T.I. did not take the stage at the time of the shooting but the incident stemmed from an argument between Ave and another man backstage.
The Atlanta rapper send his condolence to the dead man’s family on Instagram. “My heart us heavy today,” TIP wrote. “Our music is intended to save lives, like it has mine and many others. My heartfelt condolences to the family that suffered the loss and my prayers are with all those injured.”
TIP did not mentioned Troy Ave by name, but sources are saying that he was among the three injured persons that were taken to hospital. Two females were among the injured with one in critical condition.
NYPD officers say they ae investigating the incident for more leads to arrest anyone else involved in the shooting incident.
Troy Ave has been radio silent on social media since the incident. Sources are saying that he has not been formally charged and is still getting treatment for his injuries.
