Vybz Kartel previews a new collaboration with his sons Likkle Vybz and Likkle Addi, and it sounds fire.
The incarcerated deejay’s sons have recently launched their solo dancehall careers and have a few new solo singles bubbling on the airwaves. It appears that Vybz Kartel and his management team have been grooming them very well because the tracks that they’ve released so far have been getting great feedback from dancehall fans. This week, Kartel previewed a new collaboration with Likkle Vybz and Likkle Addi. The track is titled “Magneato” and is slated for release on November 8.
Outside of this upcoming track, Vybz Kartel has a handful of new singles out, including his latest collaboration “Superman” with Sikka Rhymes. Of course, there is the hugely popular single “Drone Dem,” which is one of the most popular dancehall tracks out now.
Kartel has defied the odds by staying relevant despite being incarcerated for almost a decade. The Gazanation leader has been behind bars since 2011, and this year he released some of the most popular singles in dancehall. There are talks of a new album in the works coming in early 2020, and of course, his pending verdict for his murder appeal could arrive anytime now.
