Gucci Mane and Travis Scott link with each other over a trippy beat on their new collaboration, “Murda.”
Last weekend was filled with new music thanks in part to The Weeknd who returned with his “Memento Mori” radio show. The show dropped off some memorable world premieres including this new joint “Murda” from Gucci Mane and Travis Scott. It like Michael Jordan and Steph Curry when La Flare and La Flame link up.
“Diamonds heavy husky like my jeweler name was Rick Ross (Yeah) / I’m gettin’ up while you gettin’ off (Yeah, yeah) / Poppin’ crystal livin’ like Christoff, uh (Ooh) / Havin’ a cheers off, Bolay, mayday (Ooh),” Travis raps in his Auto-Tune voice.
Gucci Mane snapped on the first verse where he raps, “It’s Guwop and Travis (Huh?), I’m so far from average / All this bread, clad b*tch in karats / She gon’ give head automatic (Brr, uh-uhh).”
The Weeknd’s radio show tribute the late rapper Nipsey Hussle and dropped off some new music from the likes of Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Metro Boomin, Gunna, Juelz Santana, Future, Offset, and 21 Savage.
Gucci Mane catches some heat from Migos rapper Takeoff last weekend for making a post on Instagram about the first time he met Migos in the studio. It turns out that Takeoff didn’t like what Gucci wrote in the caption and left a comment on the post letting it be known how he felt.
