Spice has stepped forward to apologize to Tokyo Vanity for fat shaming her.
The two “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” stars got into a fight on last night’s episode after butting heads. Sierra and Mimi Faust invited the two ladies who have beef over Tokyo’s ex-boyfriend Tabius who Spice is now dating. Instead of making peace, Spice and Tokyo Vanity ended up in a fight forcing the Love and Hip Hop security guards to put in overtime work to separate them.
Things really got heated when Spice told Tokyo that she doesn’t want anything else to eat. The dancehall diva received some heavy backlash on social media over her comments and was even turned into a meme, but she has now apologized.
“It’s officially the most horrific situation I’ve watched on TV,” Spice wrote on Instagram. “I’m so disappointed in myself for doing the exact same thing I promised myself that I wouldn’t do. Watching back Myself fighting on TV has left me with deep despondency. Even tho I heard that disrespectful remarks was passed about me behind my back. Leaving me to think she was throwing shade I said I’m gonna throw the whole tree when I met her. With that being said It still doesn’t justify the fact that I was so wrong to comment on her weight.”
Spice recently launched her Grace Hamilton Foundation which is her own charitable organization aimed at empowering women in Jamaica. She did say that she and Tokyo have already made peace but still wanted to publicly apologize to her and for disappointing her fans. “I now realize that I’ve offended many people and even though me and Tokyo have put our differences aside, I still want to take this time out to apologize to Tokyo again and to also apologize to whom I offended,” Spice added.
Spice is now a regular on “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” after making her debut on the show last season when the crew went to Jamaica.
