Rihanna will not only be getting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at his Sunday’s MTV VMAs, but also she will be delivering the ‘holy crap’ moment.
The “Work” singer has been in the music business for a decade now and has consistently remained relevant delivering a consistent supply of mega hits. So it was no surprised that she was given the prestigious award that only a select group of artists received such as Beyonce, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson, and Michael Jackson.

Everyone is now wondering what Rihanna has up her sleeves after the VMAs producer Jesse Ignjatovic gave an idea.
“I’m really excited because she’s taken this opportunity to inject her own creativity into it,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “If we’re talking on Monday the 29th or after the show Sunday, everyone will be surprised with what she’s done to make this honor her own and something that’s extremely impactful.”
Seems Rihanna is planning a blockbuster performance of some of the biggest tracks of her career.
Kanye West will also be given four minutes to do whatever he wants to do at the VMAs. The MTV Video Music Awards will be held at New York’s Madison Square Gardens at 9 PM EST on Sunday.
