Love & Hip Hop: Joe Budden & Cyn Santana Reunite For Safaree & Erica’s Baby Shower

Joe Budden and Cyn Santana seem to be back on good terms.

When any celebrity is involved in the cast on Love and Hip Hop, it can be hard for fans to decipher between reality and reality television. Only a few weeks ago, the trailer dropped for the new season of LHH: New York that showed what looked to be a serious conflict between rapper Joe Budden and his ex-fiance/baby mom Cyn Santana. The cameras led us to believe that it was because Budden’s other ex-fiance Tahiry Jose was back in the picture. There’s more to be revealed once the new season starts Dec. 16, but for now, it looks like Joe and Cyn are actually amicable. And not only that, they are on good terms with fellow castmates Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena.

Joe Budden posted a photo Sunday of he and Cyn attending Safaree and Erica’s baby shower. Erica is expecting a baby girl, and she and her fiance Safaree, Nicki Minaj’s ex, hosted a Met Gala themed shower to celebrate. Joe Budden and Safaree had their own conflicts on the last season of LHH when he began dating Erica Mena, who also used to date Cyn Santana. Are you still following?

Well, the reality stars are putting the complications of that love triangle, or octagon, to the side and Joe, Cyn, Safaree, and Erica also took a nice couples photo together to show the public all is well. Joe posted the caption, “Sometimes you gotta come together to defeat Thanos,” a nod to how hard it is to keep up with what’s what in that circle. Once the photos went viral, fans and celebrities began to chime in on the authenticity of the relationships after Joe and Cyn called off their engagement earlier this year. Charlamagne Tha God joked that “They will never defeat Mona Scott Young,” the creator of Love and Hip Hop.

Cyn Santana has publicly said that leaving Joe was the best decision she ever made, and Joe himself seemed to have moved on and right into other women’s comments on Instagram. Nonetheless, the two share a beautiful baby boy name, Lexington Budden, so if nothing else, at least they are co-parenting cordially. Fans can catch more of this saga once the new season of Love and Hip Hop returns in just a few weeks.
