Jim Jones Angered By 50 Cent Labeling Him A Snitch

Jim Jones Speak on 50 Cent Labeling Him An Informant

Jim Jones was one of the handsome few celebrities that were thrown under the bus by Tekashi 6ix9ine during his now infamous court trial. In his testimony, Tekashi named Jim as one of the affiliates of the gangs he mentioned in court. During a recent interview on the Angie Martinez Show, the former rapper told Angie that “You never know that you’re in the circus until you figure out you was looking at a clown,” he said. “When the clown gives out information, everybody laughs, you dig? But for the most part, everyone knows I’m a substantial individual — I’ve been doing this for a very long time.”

Following Jim’s mention in court, many started to speculate that he was a federal informant, seeing as he too had been in Tekashi’s position before but managed to elude any sentencing. 50 Cent being 50 Cent further encouraged this narrative when he posted a photo of the fake story about Jones to his Instagram. Jim told Angie that this was just people running with something they see in the media without fact-checking.

“People don’t read the facts, they read the’ Gram. It’s a big difference, and people use the media to do what they do. They blow everything up out of proportion,” he said. “As far as my feelings… Of course, it took me somewhere else at the moment when I saw it, but then I calmed down, sat back, laughed at it, looked at the person who was dishing it, and thought about it.”

Jones went on to admonish Tekashi 6ix9ine’s actions stating that defamation is not something that is tolerated where he is from. “I do say one thing — where I’m from, real ni**as don’t do bullsh*t to tarnish people’s name — at all. That’s not honorable. We don’t get to talk about that too much. If you know me, you know me.”

Fans are still unsure which side of the story to believe, but for the most part, the biggest question has been how Jim Jones managed to avoid jail time in the past. The former rapper has not addressed that, but he stands firm in his sentiments that he is not a snitch. So do we believe him?
