Rapper Too Short Becomes Welcomes First Child At 53

Too Short just proved it’s never too late for fatherhood.

Too Short is a hip-hop legend and has been active in the music game since the mid-80s. Now the iconic rapper is entering a new chapter of his life at the age of 53 — parenthood. Sources close to the  “Blow the Whistle” rapper confirmed he became a proud father last December and he kept the news under wraps for most of this year.

Too Short’s girlfriend, Sue Ivy, gave birth to their beautiful baby girl whom they named Yani Shaw. The west coast veteran is said to already have plans to introduce her to the world in a major way. According to TMZ, Short is teaming up with Ray J to shoot a documentary about fatherhood and raising little girls in Hollywood. Ray J is the father to 4-month-old Melody Norwood who he shares with his longtime girlfriend Princess of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.

Too Short, born Todd Shaw, has spent most of his life rapping, producing and even acting, which has kept him pretty busy. So it looks like he was finally able to settle down and start a family even at a later age. Photos have already circulated online of Short and his baby girl together, and she looks exactly like him!
