Fan’s have a really bad habit of throwing things at Swae Lee.
One half of the Rae Sremmurd duo has had a phone thrown at him on stage before, and this time he’s not playing any games. A viral video shows Swae Lee as he walked through an audience, all of whom were blocked off by guard rails when all of a sudden, water was thrown in his direction. The “Black Beatles” rapper/singer immediately stopped and asked, “Who threw that sh*t?” He was performing at Wireless Festival in London, according to HotNewHipHop.
Of course, no one confessed. But Swae approached the person recording the video and asked twice more who threw the water at him. The video cuts off before we ever get an answer.
It’s no surprise that the 24-year-old artist reacted in an aggressive manner after he was sent to the hospital last August when a fan threw a cellphone on stage and busted his lip. He also claimed he lost a tooth.
Swae Lee had to receive stitches and promised to sue the fan who launched the phone in his direction. He later walked back the lawsuit threat but jokingly brought a helmet on stage at his next performance.
So this time around, the rapper may be experiencing a little PTSD, even if it was just a little H2O.
