Buju Banton Arrived In Trinidad For Sunday’s “I Am Legend” Concert

Buju Banton touched down in Trinidad and Tobago.

The reggae singer touched down in Trinidad despite concerns that he could be barred from entering the island over his criminal record. Last week, Trinidad’s National Security Minister Stuart Young indicated that he would sign off on a waiver for Buju Banton to enter the island and he kept that promise paving the way for the major concert the “I Am Legend” concert at Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain on Sunday.

The below video shows Buju arriving at the Piarco International Airport where he was greeted by fans who have been anxiously waiting on his arrival since the announcement of the concert over a year ago.

Among the artists who will perform with Buju in the Trinidadian capital tomorrow are Wayne Wonder, Singing Melody, Luciano, and teenage reggae sensation Koffee.

Buju Banton drew a massive crowd of over 30,000 fans to his concert in Kingston last month. He is expected to draw an equally large crowd at the Queen’s Park Savannah tomorrow night. Fans can look out for an electrifying performance from the Gargamel as he continues to make his way across the Caribbean with his “Long Walk To Freedom Tour.”
