Roy Fowl’s murder remains unsolved, and his close friend is speaking out.
A close friend of slain dancehall promoter and British Link Up leader, Roy Fowl, is speaking out about his murder. Father Devon, who is the man in a video being circulated on social media, has stepped forward to deny having anything to do with the killing. He was featured prominently in the viral video dancing and partying with Roy Fowl moments before his murder.
Father Devon explains in an interview with LA Lewis that he and Father Fowl were very close friends and he bought the last meal that he ate before he was killed, a stream fish. Devon says he was invited to the party by a Rastafarian man who was hosting his birthday party and that the video was recorded three hours before the armed men rode up on a motorcycle and sprayed Fowl with bullets.
Devon explained that he was inside the small shop when he heard a barrage of gunshots and people started running from outside into the shop. When the smoke cleared, he found out that his best friend was shot dead on the ground. He also made it clear that he has nothing to do with the killing.
Police officers are actively investigating Fowl’s murder, but so far no arrest has been made.
