Drake confirmed that he is dropping “In My Feelings” video today, Thursday, August 2.
The world has been waiting patiently for Drake to drop his long-awaited video for his viral single “In My Feelings.” The track is featured on his new chart-topping album Scorpion and is currently number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Drizzy prepped the new music video on Instagram Story on Wednesday night writing, “In My feelings video [tomorrow].” He added two vintage photos of Clair Huxtable of the Cosby’s show.
Drake and his team were spotted in New Orleans last month shooting the video right after his performance at the Wireless Festival in London. Video director Karena Evans, who directed “Nice For What,” was also spotted in New Orleans with Drizzy as well as a couple other celebrities.
The Toronto rapper also shared a photo of a denim jacket with the words “Free JT” aka Jatavia “JT” Johnson. The City Girls’ member is currently serving time behind bars for fraud charges. Drizzy will also be rocking the jacket along with numerous dancers in the music video.
“In My Feelings” became a viral hit last month right after Drake released Scorpion. The success of the single largely has to do with Shiggy creating the In My Feelings dance challenge that has everyone and their auntie doing it including Will Smith and Odell Beckham Jr.
