Mavado live performance

Mavado’s son was a no show in court on Monday.

The 16-year-old, who is facing murder charges, didn’t show up to his first court hearing set for Monday (June 18). Mavado’s attorney, Tamika Harris, who is also representing the teen, says police officers were responsible for bringing the accused to court but didn’t. The case hearing will be rescheduled to a future date and we will keep you posted.

Mavado‘s son is currently facing charges including murder, conspiracy to murder, arson, shooting with intent and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

Cops say he and another man, 23-year-old Andre Hinds, are responsible for the gruesome murder of Lorenza Thomas in Cassava Piece, Kingston 8 on June 5, 2018.

Mavado says his son is innocent of the charges and vows to fight the case to clear his name.
