Govana and Jada Kingdom have both denied rumors that they are dating.
The dancehall stars dropped a new collaboration last weekend right before a photo of them in the studio hit the net. The cozy photo sparked some dating rumors but the pair has now stepped forward to shot down those rumors. The song is titled “Better Than That” and was produced by EMudio Records.
“You know me name Gyal Thief so from the fans see me around a female them a guh talk,” Govana said. However, I keep relations out of the music industry and avoid the mix-up, remember national don’t do mix-up.”
Since breaking onto the music scene last year with a slew of catchy singles, there have been speculations about who the “Love Situations” singer is dating. She is as much known for her ample ass-ets as she is known for her music so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that this photo sparked dating rumors.
Nevertheless, Jada Kingdom says she and Govana are just friends and it seems like they are intent on keeping it that way. “There is nothing deeper than friendship, [Govana] a mi bredrin that fi life!” she said. “For once, please let the music prevail, concentrate on the musical energy. There’s no salacious gossip or mix-up behind it.”
Regarding the collaboration, Govana says it was his idea to do the song with Jada Kingdom because he likes her writing skills and thought that she would be a good fit for the single. He was right on point with that assessment because the track is fire. Listen to “Better Than That” below.
