Chris Brown Debut New Single “State Of The Union”

Chris Brown wants us all to unite for a common cause, peace and love.

The R&B crooner debut his new single “State of the Union” just hours after President Donald Trump gave his first State Of The Union Speech in Washington D.C. on Tuesday night. Over a sultry base heavy beat, Chris Brown once again delivered what is another potential Hot 100 hit. “Tired of running from the police, huh / Never f***ing over my homies, huh / Want my ni***s make it in one piece, huh / And my lane whipping in it one seat, huh,” Breezy sings.

Chris Brown kept that optimistic tone throughout the entire track while singing about bringing people together and asking God to protect his friends. The R&B icon released his 45-track album Heartbreak on a Full Moon last month. The project debut at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart after moving 68,000 copies in its first week of release. According to Brown, the album is already certified platinum by the RIAA.

Breezy made headlines earlier this month for some monkey business. The California Dept. of Fish and Wildlife confiscated a pet monkey that the singer got for his daughter Royalty. The L.A. City Attorney office also launched an investigation and could charge Chris Brown with harboring a restricted species without a permit, a misdemeanor charge in California.
