The Lee Milla-produced single is one of the most talked about new tracks in dancehall, but it’s not without a little controversy. Some fans are suggesting that the Gullyside singjay was dissing the two deejays so we reached out to one of his reps who told us that the song is not a diss track. “We are not promoting this track as a diss track but let the chips fall where they may,” sources told us. “If another deejay want to feel like Vado is dissing them then that’s there problem. We never say that this song is a diss, we don’t see them, these artists are not in the same league as Mavado, not even close.”
Since the release of the single “Laugh and Gwan” last week, Vershon has already released a Mavado diss track titled “My Success.” Earlier this year, Masicka took a few shots at Mavado and Alkaline while performing his Vybz Kartel collaborative single “InfraRed” live.
