I-Octane mother is still a street vendor despite his massive success in dancehall.
After being called out by some of his fans, the “Mama” singjay is opening up about issue revealing that it’s his mother’s choice to stick to her hustle despite her son’s wealth and support. “My mother’s reality is her vending and that is it,” the singer said. “She is not short of money or anything, but she used all her teenage years supporting us through vending.”
I-Octane also reveals that he gives his mother US$1,000 each month and insists that she is not in need of anything. “So, despite the fact that I have a three storey house for my home, I have money and I gave her one floor for herself, she still doesn’t want to come there,” he added. Seems I-Octane wasn’t joking when he said he grew rough. In a video clip posted on his Instagram page, his mother joked about once cutting him with a knife on his hand.
