Vybz Kartel annual event “Stictly Addi” is gearing up to be “better and cooler” says the promoters of the annual event.
This year will marks the fourth staging of then event that pays homage to Vybz Kartel who is currently in prison serving a life sentence for murder. Thousands of Gazantion fans are expected to converge on the Sugarman’s Beach in Portmore on June 24 this summer. The highly anticipated event is being promoted by Jamrock Entertainment Management (JEM), and over the last three years they have seen tremendous success with the show.
“No matter how good an event was, there is always room for improvement, and we try our utmost to impress our patrons,” JEM Director of Promotions Marc Hines said, while JEM Director of Communications Ibrahim Konteh added “While we definitely intend to bring the ‘Vybz’, it’s important for us that each and every patron leaves the event eager to experience the next one. Last year, we took the event to the beach for the first time and patrons loved it. We are going there again. Only this time, patrons will be bringing their igloos, their favourite drinks and their best friends.”
