Rihanna scores two new platinum single certifications off his critical acclaim album ANTI.
The Roc Nation pop star announced on Instagram on Wednesday that he singles “Sex With Me” and “Love On The Brain” have received platinum certificates from the Recording Industry Association of America, RIAA. “So proud to find out that 2 more songs from my ?#ANTI album have gone platinum….#SEXwithME and #LOTB,” Rihanna wrote.
In addition to her two new accolades, Rihanna’s mega hit with Drake “Work” was also certified 5X platinum after selling over 5 million units. “In addition to #Work going 5x platinum, even though it’s a year old I can’t thank God enough for the immense support that you guys show me!! One Love always,” she wrote.
Other singles off ANTI such as “Needed Me” has been certified 4x platinum and “Kiss It Better” also received platinum certification last year. 2016 was a huge success year for the Bajan pop singer with her ANTI album going platinum within 24 hours of its release. “Work” was also one of the biggest songs of the year.
Rihanna is not only dominating the music world, she is also getting ready for a big year in film with two new big blockbuster movies coming. She landed big roles in Ocean Eight which is now under production in New York City and also in the Science Fiction Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.
