Ishawna was a no show at last weekend’s Reggae Sumfest despite being billed on the lineup for dancehall night.
Sources are saying that Downsound Records head Joe Bogdanovich has already held a meeting with his lawyers and could filed a lawsuit against the dancehall diva who broke her contract by abruptly leaving the label and refused to perform at the event.
“There is something going on that I really can’t talk about or really know about, I’ve never experience anything like this in my life,” Joe told Winford Williams during an interview at Reggae Sumfest.
Ishawna has been silent since the news broke last week that she is no longer apart of the label. But Bogdanovich noted that there is still a binding contract between herself and Downsound.
