David Bowie Dead, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar Among Celebrities React

Rock star David Bowie died on Sunday from cancer. He was age 69 at the time of his death.

Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Diddy, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake among celebrities react to his death on Twitter.

The G.O.O.D. Music rapper calls Bowie one of his most important inspirations, while adding that he is praying for the rocker’s family and friends.

K-Dot was obviously moved by David Bowie death and expressed his feelings on Twitter.

“What a honor, what a soul. David Bowie, Spirit of Gold. RIP,” Kendrick Lamar wrote.

“1 of 1. Grew up on Mr Bowie and referenced him in many recording sessions and discussions on art and freedom and “the legacy we wanna become and leave” as artists. Ever evolving. #RIPDavidBowie,” Estelle wrote on her Instagram.

“Really inspired me in so many ways. My heart aches! Artist everywhere should pay the utmost respect. The creativity alone was enough to make you wanna be better in your craft. #rip #Davidbowie,” K Michelle wrote on her Instagram.

“One of the reasons why I always had The courage to change my names and reinvent myself was because of David Bowie. He lived so many different lives. And he did his way. David Bowie God bless you. Rest in peace!” Diddy said.
