Beanie Sigel Lung Was Not Removed, Source Confirmed

Beanie Sigel was released from the hospital after over a month of receiving treatment for gunshot wounds.

The former Roc-A-Fella rapper was shot and injured near his home in New Jersey on December 5, 2014. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

But yesterday TMZ reported that doctors had to removed one of Beanie Sigel’s lungs because it was too riddled with bullet fragments.

Sources from the Philly rapper told XXL mag that his lung is still in tack although there were some complications. His lung reportedly collapse due to the extent of the injury but was reinflated by doctors.

Beanie Sigel is now being house at the Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation in Pomona, NJ where he will continue his recovery.

He was not the intended target of the shooting.
