Fergie touched on a lot of topics including urinating on stage, her critics, Iggy Azalea backlash, and more. But perhaps the most interest part of her interview was when she revealed a possible collaboration with Nicki Minaj.

“This is the first time I’ve even announced anything,” Fergie said, without divulging any details.

Fergie also tackles Iggy Azalea criticism in hip hop saying that she was subjected to the same treatment in the early stages of her career. But she drew inspirations from her critics and that fueled her career.

“It actually fueled me,” she said. “I was like ‘You know what? These fools are just sitting there saying this. They have no idea who I am. I have worked for this my entire life. I am ambitious. I am an overachiever. I’m gonna do this and I see it so clearly.’ And it’s like, ‘You know what? I probably listen to more hip-hop than any of these fools.”

Fergie has a brand new video out “L.A.Love (La La)” featuring YG. It will be interesting to hear what she and Nicki Minaj cooked up in the studio.

The “L.A.Love (La La)” rapper has been absent from hip hop for a little while and during that time she gave birth to her son Axl Jack Duhamel. She is now working on her new solo album.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is readying her upcoming album The PinkPrint for a December 15 release date.
