Actor Columbus Short personal scandal has caused him his role on the hit TV show Scandal.
Over the past three weeks there have been rumors that Short could be leaving the shower due to a mountain of legal troubles he found himself in.

Last week the 31-year-old actor released a statement confirming his exit from the political thriller TV show after three seasons.
“At this time, I must confirm my exit from a show I’ve called home for three years, with what is the most talented ensemble on television today,” Columbus Short said. “I would like to first thank Shonda Rhimes for the opportunity to work with such an amazing cast.”
Columbus Short currently has two pending cases before the court. One where he is accused by his wife of assault and has been charged with misdemeanor spousal battery. He also has another case of felony battery after he allegedly injured a man during incident at a West Hollywood restaurant.
The actor is facing up to four years in prison if found guilty. He wife, Tuere Short, has since obtained a restraining order against him and has filed for divorce.
