The Voice: Tessanne Chin Wins Her First Battle, Move On To Knock Out Round [VIDEO]

Team Tessanne Chin is in celebratory mood right now after the Jamaican songstress emerged victorious from her first big test on The Voice.

Tessanne Chin went up against another powerhouse in Adam Levine’s camp, Donna Allen. The pair performed Emeli Sande’s “Next To Me.”

Both singers delivered a well received duet, but the decision for the judges were clear cut, Tessanne Chin was the better.

“You brought it, my choice would be Tessanne,” Christina Aguilera said before CeeLo Green also giving Tessanne Chin the knod.

Adam Levine was a bit more neutral. “You each have something the other doesn’t have,” the Maroon 5 frontman said.

Blake Shelton was the only judge to give it to Donna Allen.

This means Tessanne Chin will now move on to the Knockout Round for Team Adam. Let’s see if another one of the judge will snap up Donna Allen.
