Sean Paul says his ancestors immigrated from Portugal some 300 years ago hense his last name Henriques.
The dancehall superstar is currently touring Europe and working on his upcoming album, due later this year.

During an interview in Portugal, Sean Paul revealed his Portuguese roots.
“I love being in Portugal its like my second home,” Sean Paul said. “My family is all from Jamaica but we have Portuguese in us. My family came from Portugal 300 years ago.”
