Breaking: Dancehall Artist Risto Benji Murdered

Dancehall deejay Risto Benji was gunned down at his residence last night.

According to reports, the deejay, whose real name is Michael Benjamin, was shot multiple times outside his home at approximately 10 p.m. in an area known as “Vietnam” in Church Pen, St. Catherine.

Benji was popular on the dancehall scene in the late 1980s to early 1990s. He is known for popular songs such as “Gun John Crow” and “Passport Buddy.”

The police have not yet established a motive for his murder.
