On Michael Jackson’s 54th birthday, some of the artistes he inspired came together to honor him at a concert on the 25th anniversary of his classic album Bad.
Singers Melanie Fiona and Ne-Yo among other paid tribute to the late king of pop with covers of some of his classic singles at the BAD25 Pepsi & Billboard Summer Beats Celebration at Gotham Hall in New York City on August 29th.
Melanie Fiona covers “Dirty Diana, and “Bad.” While Ne-Yo covers his idol’s classic “Smooth Criminal,” and “The Way You Make Me Feel.”
“You try Michael Jackson songs and hope that it works, so with that said I hope I made Mike proud just now,” Ne-Yo said.
