Tory Lanez found PARTYNEXTDOOR’s apology after dissing him in a song amusing.

PARTYNEXTDOOR is getting a lot of attention currently after dropping his joint album with Drake, Some Sexy Songs 4 U, on Valentine’s Day. The album debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart after sales of 246,000 album-equivalent units in that country, earning Drake his fourteenth No. 1 album. This means that Drake is now tied with Jay-Z and Taylor Swift as the artists with the most No. 1 albums ever.

Certainly, the album’s success isn’t just earning Drake a lot of attention, it’s also shining a spotlight on his OVO artist PARTYNEXTDOOR. Feeling empowered by the data he has been seeing and the fan’s reaction, Party suddenly teased a Tory Lanez diss track on his Instagram Live this week.

“F— what Tory Lanez say, you know the B, I’m running that, I did everything he did, oh he’s just a running man, You said I sound like Young Thug, you know you sound like me, One day, you’ll be me,” PARTYNEXTDOOR raps.

PND quickly had a change of heart after getting some new information and an apology to Tory Lanez for the diss. “[Tory Lanez] I was told about what you said without hearing your video for myself. You didn’t say anything that I wouldn’t say myself, now that I seen it I was wrong,” Party said. “City is stronger together.”

Tory Lanez reacted to the apology, suggesting that he didn’t expect it and was ready for an all-out lyrical war. “Lol… why wake me up?” the incarcerated rapper shared in a message on his Instagram Story. Clearly, Tory was taken aback by PND’s apology, which brought us back to when J. Cole apologized to Kendrick Lamar.

This is not the first time that PARTYNEXTDOOR is jumping the gun with beefs with other artists like Bryson Tiller, Jeremih, and Chris Brown.

PARTYNEXTDOOR vs Tory Lanez. Who would win the beef?

Fans are already debating who would win in a beef between PARTYNEXTDOOR and Tory Lanez. Both artists have shown lyrical prowess over the years, and certainly, their beef would bring a lot of excitement to the Toronto rap scene. “Tory Lanez would absolutely destroy Party that’s why he apologized so quick man,” one fan wrote.

In a prison phone call, Tory Lanez says he is ready to drop his best work of 2025. “PARTYNEXTDOOR showed his best work of 2025, Drake showed his best work of 2025, The Weeknd showed his best work of 2025, now it’s time for me to come out,” he said.
