Tekashi 6ix9ine will be serving time behind bars for violating the terms of his release.

The New York rapper was arrested in October and placed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, the same facility where Diddy is being housed. According to the feds, 6ix9ine violated his probation after failing a mandatory drug test, marking the second time in recent weeks that he failed a court-mandated drug test. He eventually turned himself in to law enforcement after a judge ordered US Marshals to arrest him.

The “TROLLZ” rapper’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, revealed that he tested positive for meth, but he believes it could’ve been a false positive because 6ix9ine is taking Adderall. It appears the rapper and his lawyer decided not to fight the probation violation claims over the failed drug test and copped to a plea deal, the Associated Press reported. The judge could sentence him to serve an additional 30 days behind bars and extend his probation terms.

Judge Paul A. Engelmayer says he will hand down his sentencing as soon as the rainbow-haired rapper admits he violated his probation. His sentencing hearing is set for November 12, and if all goes well for the rapper, he could only spend another month behind bars. In his written plea deal, his attorney suggests one month of incarceration plus an additional month on house arrest. Additionally, he proposed an additional month of home confinement and another month of strict curfew.

6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, also agrees to electronic monitoring once he is on the outside. Judge Paul A. Engelmayer, the original sentencing judge in the case, expressed disappointment that the rapper did not stay clean while on probation. 69 is only months away from completing his five-year probation.

Outside of his probation violation case, Tekashi 6ix9ine is facing a lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend Yailin La Más Viral, who is accusing him of abusing her during the tenure of their tumultuous relationship. Yailin La Más Viral also alleges that 69 misappropriated her money and used it to finance his own lifestyle by buying luxury goods. She claimed that he coerced her to “undergo unnecessary plastic surgery and other cosmetic procedures.”

In responding to the lawsuit, the “GUMMO” rapper says she is trying to manipulate him by spreading gossip about him in the media. 69 recently signed a new record deal, but fans will have to wait until he is out of jail to get new music.
