Piers Morgan has issued an apology to Jay-Z and Beyonce after inviting Jaguar Wright, who then made some wild comments about the power couple.

During the interview, Wright made serious allegations about Diddy and Jay-Z while also injecting claims about Beyonce. It’s no secret that she has criticized Hov for years, but these comments were enough to get a response from the rap mogul and his wife due to the potential damage to their reputation in the entertainment space.

Piers Morgan has since deleted the clips of Wright making the allegatione where she linked Jay-Z to other questionable characters like R. Kelly, Diddy, Harvey Weinstein, and Jeffrey Epstein while labeling the Roc Nation head as a “monster.” Hov usually ignored much of the criticisms he received in the media sphere, but this one he didn’t let slide as he and Beyonce’s attorneys sent a cease and desist letter to Morgan, who has since retracted the comments and apologized.

“Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were totally false, and have no basis in fact,” Morgan said on Tuesday (October 8), while admitting that he agreed to comply with the demands from the couple’s attorneys. “Editing interviews is not something we do lightly, at a show called Uncensored. But there are legal limits on us too. We apologize to JAY-Z and Beyonce.”

Since doing the interview, Jaguar Wright has received criticisms from Ray J and Meek Mill with the R&B singer turned reality TV star asking why she didn’t come on his platform to do the interview and instead going to Piers Morgan Uncensored. Ray J claimed that he had tried to book her to come on his show but she ignored his request.

On the other hand, Meek Mill, who had close ties to both Jay-Z and Diddy, seemed to be questioning why the rap titan was remaining silent on the matter. “F— is going on a silent war?” Meek questioned before adding, “Why do these people have more of a voice than the thoroughbred people!”

Meek Mill previously worked with Jay-Z at Roc Nation and also on prison reform initiatives. He is also being linked to Diddy amid mounting allegations against the Bad Boy rapper.
