Drake will cough up an explanation why he didn’t respond to Pusha T diss on his upcoming album Scorpion.
There has been a lot of chatters in the media over the last few days about Drake having a diss track for Pusha T coming on his new album Scorpion, due on June 29. Turns out that there is no diss track coming from Drizzy on the album, but we will get some explanation on why he went ghost after Pusha T dropped “The Story Of Adidon.”
DJ Akademiks says he spoke with Drake about the rumors that he has a diss track coming on Scorpion and the Toronto rapper flat out denies it. Drake also confirmed that he did, in fact record a diss track but chooses not to release it. Remember, J Prince revealed in multiple interviews last week that he spoke with Drizzy and heard the track and told him not to release it because it would cause great pain particularly for Kanye West and his family.
Akademiks says he told Drake about the legacy aspect of not responding and this taking an L in a rap battle and it sounds like Drizzy told him that he decided to take the L because if the beef had continued it would’ve lead him down a dark road that he didn’t want to go. On his diss track, Pusha T outed Drake as a deadbeat dad, diss his father, his mother, and his best friend Noah “40” Shebib who is battling multiple sclerosis.
If Drake had responded to a track like that, he would’ve had to disrespect Pusha T, his family, his friends, and even his dog. Sounds like Kanye West was also a major target in Drake’s secret diss track and we all know he has a lot of content to work with when it comes to putting together a diss track.
