One of Diddy’s former bodyguards continues to speak out against the embattled hip-hop mogul.
The Bad Boy Records founder’s ex-bodyguard, Gene Deal, is back in the public spotlight with a new story to share involving Usher and his run-in with the rapper/entrepreneur. In his interview on The Art of Dialogue, Deal shared that Usher was allegedly sexually assaulted by Diddy. The R&B singer was a former protege of the music mogul in the 1990s. The bodyguard claimed that the “Confessions” singer was in such bad shape after the alleged assault incident that he was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
“‘Puff send this little kid to the hospital,'” Deal explains. “‘Man, n—a was bleeding from the butt.’ And that’s what was said.” When pressed about the story, he shared that he didn’t witness the alleged assault firsthand but heard about it from a music executive who he declined to name. “I heard it from some music executives,” he continued. “I’m not gonna speak on they name. They may speak on it theyself.”
Deal explains that he is sharing this story because of the numerous recent allegations made against Diddy including a claim that the label exec assaulted someone who was nine years old at the time of the alleged incident. Usher has not spoken about this incident nor has he commented on the Diddy case.
Usher previously opened up about living with Diddy when he was age fourteen in the spring of 1994. “There were very curious things taking place and I didn’t necessarily understand it,” the singer shared on Howard Stern Show about what he witnessed at the time at Diddy’s house.
Deal’s allegation involving Diddy and Usher comes on the heels of Houston attorney Tony Buzbee’s bombshell press conference in which he alleges that over 3,800 people have come forward with claims against the rap mogul that he assaulted them. The attorney currently has a tip line where people can call to tell their stories. Buzbee has so far agreed to represent 120 of the people who want to bring cases against Diddy, including the person who alleges that they were age nine at the time of their encounter with the entertainer. The lawyer alleges that most of the incidents took place at parties.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is currently sitting in a jail cell awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, kidnapping, and racketeering. According to new reports, the federal investigation is far from over and has gone international with rumors that British law enforcement might be investigating alleged incidents of trafficking. Diddy is being held without bond after two judges denied his attorney’s motion for bail despite them proposing a $50 million security package.
If convicted on the charges, Diddy faces decades in prison.
