Bounty Killer’s Instagram page was hacked!
Rodney Price, sometimes called Poor People Governor, the Dancehall Warlord, The Grung Gaad, and most times just Bounty Killer, has been hacked on Instagram. We know him as one of the greatest deejays to come out of Jamaica. What we definitely do not know him as is what the current Arabic handle on his IG account says, and he surely doesn’t sell shoes.
The artiste’s long-running Instagram page that sports a cool 446K followers was recently hacked and renamed Enes Demir Official Account. The artiste was forced to create a new Instagram account. His new IG handle is 1unogeneral, and the killer took to his new profile to update his fans. “My official page @grunggaadzilla has been hacked at 447.k until further notice I have no control of anything send post or comment from this page Thank You. SPREAD THE WORD!!!”
Here is the twist in the whole saga, the hacker actually wants to give back control of the account to Bounty Killer and it doesn’t seem as if there was any ransom amount demanded.
The hacker wrote, “Hi Rodney I want to apologize very much. I will return your account back. I bought an account for indirect reasons, obviously i needed money, but i want to give the account.”
“PEOPLE IT SEEM LIKE THE HACKING THING IS THE NEW WAY OF SCAMMING TODAY,” responded Bounty. “BCUZ AFTRER MY PAGE WAS HACKED BY SOMEONE FROM TURKEY HOW THE HELL DID HE GOT MY NUMBER TO BE CONTACTING ME ABOUT GIVING ME BACK MY PAGE!!”
He then called out Jamaica’s tech and mobile phone giant Digicel, “Someone had told me that it’s persons from Digicel working with the hackers on IG giving out ppl numbers make sense now since I changed my password hundreds times B4 IT WAS HACKED. Also turned on two way authentication email or text code has to be received b4 password could be changed everything and them still could hacked my page which is a certified page just want u all to know that Instagram isn’t safe in no way or form be extremely careful on here folks Thank You!!.”
Sadly, Bounty’s warning was not received fast enough as other dancehall acts such as dancer Renee six thirty’s and 6ixx camp’s lyricist, Chronic Law have both reportedly been hacked.
