The “Sunflower” rapper knows his worth when it comes to the game that involves competitors attempting to land a little ping pong ball into a cup of beer. Just how decent are Post Malone’s skills? Enough to win fifty grand! The 24-year-old issued a challenge to his touring partner, Tyla Yaweh — a friendly match with $50,000 in prize money.
Would you have played? Luckily, the “Drugs and Pain” rapper was down because an exhilarating game ensued that went all the way down to the wire. Although not a world championship, the match had some famous and eager pundits keen to see it all go down, including Rich the Kid, Diplo, Niall Horan, and Billy Idol, who hovered around the table at The Forum in Los Angeles. Tyla may have lost to his record label owner, but he was a great sport and not only paid up the 50K which Post won, but did so immediately.
He shared the receipt (ahem) with fans, by posting the payment on his social media.
“My business manager probably hate me right now, but f*ck it!!” He wrote alongside a screenshot of his transaction. “Posty hit me for 50k on [beer] pong last night, guess I can bless y’all too!! 407 ORLANDO FAEVER.”
Post Malone might be using his newly-obtained cash to take another trip to Mel’s Drive-In. The Grammy Award nominee popped into the LA eatery earlier this week where he chatted with fans and staff and left a generous $1,000 tip!
