Nipsey Hussle family, friends, and fans continue to honor the late rapper.
It’s almost three months since we lost Nipsey Hussle to gun violence, and our community continues to mourn his untimely death. The Crenshaw rapper’s sister, Samantha Smith, is honoring him in her own special way. On Tuesday, she shared a portrait tattoo of the late rapper on her sleeve. Smith also shared a poem that she wrote in honor of Nip. “To my brother who is the Key to Life / To my brother who’s strength is unmatched / To my brother who is honorable,” she wrote.
Samantha Smith also paid homage to Nipsey Hussle on Father’s Day while reminding us that he was a good father to his two kids. “A listener. A leader. A friend. A teacher. A provider. A voice of reason. A protector. A Father. We celebrate you and lift you high with Love and Respect always Ermias,” she wrote.
Smith previously filed for custody for Nipsey’s 10-year-old daughter, but his baby mama stepped in to block her. The two sides are currently duking it out in court for custody of the child. Smith is arguing that Hussle’s baby mama is an unfit parent and that’s what her brother would’ve wanted.
